VLTI Community Days 2026

VLTI conference ESO optical interferometry Garching Germany nova

I recently had the pleasure of attending the VLTI Community Days 2026, hosted by ESO. The meeting brought together researchers working with the Very Large Telescope Interferometer to exchange ideas, share results, and what is most important - to discuss future directions for high-angular-resolution astronomy.

During the conference, I presented a talk titled “Time Domain Interferometry of Novae: Community VLTI Insights into Nova Ejecta.” In my presentation, I explored how interferometric techniques can be applied to study novae in the time domain, offering new perspectives on the structure and evolution of their ejecta.

It was an inspiring event, full of engaging discussions and opportunities to connect with colleagues working at the forefront of interferometry. I’m grateful for the chance to contribute and look forward to future collaborations within the VLTI community.
