Conference: Observations and Theory of Classical Nova Transients

Recently, I had the chance to attend the conference: Observations and Theory of Classical Nova Transients (https://www.sexten-cfa.eu/event/obs26/), held at the beautiful Sexten Center for Astrophysics in the Dolomites. The meeting brought together experts working on classical novae from both observational and theoretical perspectives.

Honestly, it was one of the best conferences I've ever attended. The scientific level was outstanding, with many fascinating talks, lively discussions, and plenty of new ideas to take home.

I was also happy to contribute with a presentation on observations of novae using the Very Large Telescope Interferometer (VLTI). It was a great opportunity to share our recent results and receive valuable feedback from colleagues working in the field.

Beyond the science, one of the highlights was meeting old friends and collaborators again, as well as having the chance to talk with some of the leading experts in nova research. Conferences like this are a great reminder that science is not only about data and papers, but also about the people and connections that make research so rewarding.

A big thank you to the organizers for putting together such an excellent event. I'm returning home inspired, full of new ideas, and already looking forward to the next opportunity to meet this wonderful community again.
